I have noticed that under My Computer it lists two sub drives for the C drive labelled as media servers for both myself and for my wifes login. There is one video listed under both “media servers” that was placed there when I installed video editing software Pinnacle Studios It is a demo video for that software. I cannot add anything to the media drives and what is installed on this drive is the only thing my WD TV Live media player sees i.

When I try to drag and drop media to this drive it gives me the red crossed out circle. I have tried rendering straight to this media drive but the media ends up on the desktop instead.

In reply to A. User’s post on December 10, Great, thank you! Typical MS response — make it someone else’s problem. I recently upgraded to Win 8 and have the same problem streaming video to by Sony Bluray player.

The videos in my Win media player at the time of upgrade stream okay, but I can’t add anything new, and have found little information about this “problem” any where. In reply to Bluesguy’s post on December 23, I have no idea what the deal is I have same problem. This site in other languages x.
